Our Recruiting Process

The Melanie Andersen Agency acts as a trusted partner to companies (our clients), by identifying and recruiting candidates (job seekers) for difficult-to-fill positions.

Our clients brief us on their open position, and inform us of the required skills and experience that the candidate must have in order to be considered for the role.

The first step in our process is a comprehensive search of our proprietary internal database, which includes candidates we have previously interviewed and those who have shared their resumes with us in the past.

Next, we analyze the market landscape to identify where these candidates might currently be working—targeting competitive or relevant companies aligned with the job requirements. We then proactively reach out to these passive candidates, who may not be actively seeking new opportunities, to introduce them to the specific role.

We tap into our extensive industry network, engaging with trusted connections to identify outstanding candidates who may be a great fit for the role. Additionally, we actively participate in industry events and conferences, consistently expanding our pool of potential talent.

Once identified, we carry out a comprehensive assessment of potential candidates, beginning with an in-person or video interview to ensure their experience aligns with our client's specific requirements.

If the candidate possesses the relevant experience and, just as importantly, aligns with our client’s cultural values, we then present them as a recommendation to our client for the role.

We facilitate the interview process between the candidate and the client, providing ongoing feedback to both parties along the way. We assist with salary negotiations for the successful candidate and ensure a smooth transition for the successful candidate into their new role.
