Our client is a well-known global integrated communications agency seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to work closely with senior digital strategists and leaders on the digital strategy team. The qualified candidate will identify and pursue innovative and successful digital strategies for their clients, from go-to-market business models to marketing communications plans.
Responsibilities:
- Performs in depth evaluation of client business, including business objectives and capabilities, consumer needs, and competitive landscape in order to identity market opportunities and threats
- Writes business cases that define opportunities, benefits, risks, feasibility, metrics and approaches
- Develops and presents recommendations creatively to senior client leaders for approval
- Engages in qualitative and quantitative prototyping, contributing to design of project-related research
- Leads thought leadership initiatives and case studies for agency visibility and client engagement
- Works with creative, technology, account/project management, and analytics to ensure successful project objective, KPI alignment, and solution implementation
- Acts as a mentor to junior strategists and educates team on new and innovative digital trends to ensure that digital is an integrated aspect of all projects
- Assists client interactive leader in establishing client scopes of work
- Contributes to new business and team skill development, recruiting, and the spreading of the “digital” word throughout the agency
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic consulting, product development, and/or marketing strategy across different industries (i.e. telecommunications, financial services, automotive, consumer goods, and retailing)
- BA, preferably with marketing, advertising, business administration, and communications concentration
- Solid management experience and strong understanding/execution of various business models
- Specific interactive strategy experience required
- Strong knowledge of and passion for the internet, emerging media, and technology
- Interest in new business initiatives and working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Exemplary written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Seasoned marketer across different channels, including resale, distribution, retail, and alliance partnerships
- Team player who can garner confidence of both internal team and client
